  6. Nov 29,  · Love Hysteria plays like elevator music at times (e.g. My Last Two Weeks) that is jarring to hear alongside the "Godfather of Goth". That said this album plays better as a prototype sketch for his later work that gets it right far better than they got it on Love Hysteria/5().

It just turned 30, so dusting off your copy of it and giving the pale-brown pop gem a spin is timely.
